Our Process

We Handle Projects With A Simple Rule Of Thumb: Organization

Project Process

We bend over backwards for our clients. Without them, we wouldn’t have the great company , team , and culture that we have. We owe all of our success to the small businesses that rely on our expertise and project organization to get the job done right the first time. SBWebb uses a project management approach inspired by the Flowers Paradigm , a method of assigning the roles of Madman , Architect , Carpenter , and Judge to the creative writing process. At SBWebb, we take this concept and add a fifth step: Messenger. Our unique approach allows our team to deliver our products faster without sacrificing quality. See below how our team fits within the MACJM model with every project we take on.

Ad Man

Madman

The Madman is responsible for the overall creativity of the project. At this stage, innovative leaders within the SBWebb organization begin to imagine the unimaginable for the client - brainstorming ideas, possible solutions, and unique answers to our client's unique challenges. The Madman puts together a strategy for our internal team that is within our capabilities but also uses ingenuity to encourage boldness in our solutions. The Madman is responsible throughout the project to take the client's goals and expectations and form a plan that is just crazy enough to work. The idea here is evolution for our client and solutions to big problems that require out-of-the-box thinking.

Architect

The Architect takes the Madman’s wild ideas and formulates a blueprint for the plan to work. The Architects at SBWebb consist of strategists that put together a project outline for our clients. The project outline includes various aspects of our digital marketing process including the website’s user experience, the design, SEO planning, PPC planning, and which ads are shown where to ensure we are reaching the right person. The Architect makes the Madman’s dynamic ideas more comprehendible so our implementation team can bring the project to life. Once the Architect has laid out the building plan, the blueprints for the project are sent out to the next team: our Carpenters.

Carpenter

Carpenters have an eye for perfection. From the layout of the project to the specific items that are needed to get done, our Carpenters begin building the blueprint according to the plan. The Carpenters build the websites, write the text, add the SEO tags, design the digital ads, make recommendations to the blueprint that may not already be there - all with the client in mind. The Carpenters bring the tool belt to work and hammer in the essential nails to establish a solid ground project to the client's satisfaction. All good Carpenters needs a Judge to critique their work, and that’s precisely the next step in our project management.

Judge

The Judge is in charge of quality control and inspecting the Carpenter's building for any loose bolts or screws. You can find the Judge throughout the project checking for broken pages, detecting repetitive words that should be eliminated, correcting grammar and misspellings on the creative content. Because SBWebb strives for perfection, the Judge is a crucial step before any project is proposed to a client. With the Judge, our project management process saves time, increases efficiency, and yields a higher satisfaction on our products and services. The Judge takes its findings and reports them back to the Carpenters for an improved project that can be sent to the Messenger.

Messenger

Messenger

The Messenger is the last step of our project management approach. The Messenger actively takes each of the steps in the project and reports them back to the Madman as well as the client. Although we are a digital marketing firm, we are more of a communications agency. Without the Messenger, we would have disorganized projects, errors that should not be visible, and issues that should have been resolved the first time. Each project comes with a Messenger because every project at SBWebb matters, regardless of the size. The better the communication at our agency and with our clients, the better the end result of the product.
